New Seasons (7v7 Highlander Open!)

posted by b0nes @ 10:36 AM UTC The 6v6 will not start until Jan 12th with signups opening during December.

However if you cant wait that long or just wish to play something different then signups for 7v7 season are open now. The setup for season 4 are as follows:

• 7v7 Class Limit 1 (highlander)
• Crits Off
• Stopwatch On
• 7 game season
• All weapons allowed
• Some custom maps

We will start this season Dec 8th but will have a week off for xmas so hopefully most clans will be able to play games on time. This 7v7 highlander league is a opportunity to have some fun and try something different.

posted by b0nes @ 02:40 PM UTC I'm left with little choice but to grant another catch up week for the 6v6. I thank those teams who have done their best to play on time. Our lenient approach to fixtures altho helpful to honest clans can also be a right drag when abused.

So now the 6v6 will end without any more extensions on Sunday 23rd Nov. The 7v7 I hope to wrap up this week.

Details on next season will follow shortly.

posted by b0nes @ 01:03 PM UTC We are now in week 7 of the 6v6 league, there will be 1 week catchup granted. Results need to be in by Sunday 16th 11pm please.

7v7 end of season

posted by b0nes @ 09:51 AM UTC Most 7v7 games are now played or arranged, the deadline for results will be Friday 7th November 10pm. This should allow ample time to play all games.

Granary

posted by SteveP @ 09:04 PM UTC Due to the recently updated stock version of Granary that removed the setup time and gates, it has been decided that any outstanding games may be played on the standard Granary, rather than pro granary.

7v7 pl_hoodoo week 5 map

posted by b0nes @ 03:04 PM UTC I know its very late in the day and some clans have already played their game, but if clans would rather play b3 release of the map instead of b2 then go ahead. But both clans must agree on it, if theres any dispute then b2 must be played. It would be worth discussing this with your opponent clan asap. You can get pl_hoodoo_b3 from fpsbanana.

Games

posted by b0nes @ 05:22 PM UTC This is the last week of the 7v7 and we are 3 weeks from the end of the 6v6, can I please urge clans to really push and catch up with games where needed. There will be a extensions to the leagues where needed but really it shouldn't be too much to ask that most games are played on time.

Unfortunately 6v6 div1 has had yet more casualties which is a real shame but theres nothing that can be done about it, some clans and/or clan leaders will now be blacklisted on wireplay for being total time wasters. But theres still games to play and a title to fight for so get to it!

Fastlane time bug

posted by b0nes @ 10:29 PM UTC Sometimes for some unknown reason (bug?) on fastlane when the time limit ends the map doesn't. If this happens to you then the score when the timeleft is 0 will be the final result. Server logs can be used if there is dispute.
