7v7 - Results in by 12/07/09

posted by b0nes @ 11:37 AM BST We have been quite generous with the amount of time given to clans to play 7v7 games because we realise that its not the top of people priorities, we want it to be fun and we want clans to finish what they start. The long lead time for games is now starting to really insult admins and clans who put the effort in, its already taken far too long.

We need to push for games to be played and the season finished. Results for 7v7 AvD league must be in by Sunday 12th July, thanks.

The season has been a success we think, we have steadily grown in number since we started our 6v6 league and we hope to keep growing. It’s certainly a challenge to run a season with 100 odd clans but I hope on the most part you feel we are doing a good job. Only a couple of divs were affected by folds, and the less said about the prem the better.

Congratulations also to guru & 31 who both win the tf2 servers until the end of next season.

We hope you have enjoyed this season and will continue to support wireplay and join season 4. We are taking a small break so signups will be during August. Thanks to everyone involved, we hope you have a nice summer.

z0rbot - pcw irc bot

posted by b0nes @ 07:37 PM BST z0rbot has been running since 2002 in over 450 channels on quakenet. Up till now it was only available for Urbanterror, Action quake2 and tremulous. But now it’s available for tf2.
The bot allows you to broadcast clanwar / training clanwar requests via irc to all other registered irc channels. It can also be used to find ringers, players on servers and lots more.

Spy & Sniper Unlockable Weapons

posted by b0nes @ 10:00 PM BST For the remainder of this 6v6 league the spy and sniper unlockable weapons will be banned. However they will be allowed in the 7v7 AvD league.

We are still looking for clans for avd league, its not to late to replace a dropped clan, please contact me if interested.

6v6 - Final Week

posted by b0nes @ 10:12 AM BST As we move in to the final week of the league we hope that clans have plans in place to finish off their games. We will give 2 weeks catchup time for clans lagging behind making the last day for results to be in Sunday 7th June. This is a very generous amount of time and we don't expect any clans to fall short. Any problem clans who we don't think have any chance of finishing will be removed this week and their games defaulted.

6v6 Games

posted by b0nes @ 09:54 AM BST Today is the last day in week 3, there is a disappointing amount of clans that have actually played 3 games by now. Please if you are falling behind make some effort to catch up. If you have issues with clans no arranging then please contact an admin. Also ensure that all results are being entered and confirmed after the game.

7v7 AvD League Fixtures Generated

posted by b0nes @ 12:54 AM BST Please arrange your week 1 games asap, we start Monday. I will make a steam group for 7v7 clan leaders, accept the invite. Please familiarise yourself with this seasons rules and make sure your server has the latest wp7v7.cfg file and the 2 custom maps.

7v7 - AvD Season Preview

posted by b0nes @ 12:21 PM BST Please look at the preview page for the upcoming 7v7 AvD league. We will run fixtures in a few days time for a start date of Monday 27th. If you have a problem with clan div placements please contact me here or find an admin in #wptf2l.

We are still taking sign ups, if the waiting list can get to 8 clans by midweek we can create another division. Please if you are interested in some avd map fun, sign up asap. But please do be sure you have time for the league, it is for clans with a passion for avd maps and will see the league through.
